The Small Business Administration is sponsoring National Small Business Week through Saturday, an annual event since 1963. One of the things SBA is celebrating is the fact that in 2011 the agency guaranteed $30 billion in loans to small business, more than ever before in the history of the agency.
Think small businesses have a small impact? Defined as a business with fewer than 500 employees, small businesses account for 99.7 percent of all employers in this country and provide nearly half the jobs in the private sector. More than three-fourths of small businesses identify as single-person operations.

Make a purchase in one of our stores in Kearney’s Hilltop Mall, Grand Island’s Conestoga Mall or Omaha’s Eppley Airfield on Friday and Saturday and you will be entered in our Win What You Spend drawing.
