Wanted: Cast Members for a Feature Film. Are you between the ages of 50 and 80 and would like to work on a movie? Nebraska native and award winning writer/director Alexander Payne is seeking people ages 50-80 for speaking and non-speaking roles. The film, currently called NEBRASKA, will be filming in the state this fall. They are looking for all sizes and shapes, particularly farmers and their wives. The film will star Bruce Dern and Will Forte and is a father-son road trip drama that the Payne intends to make in black and white. The script focuses on an aging alcoholic who drafts his son to drive him from Montana to Lincoln, Nebraska so he can redeem his winning sweepstakes ticket. The son goes reluctantly, believing his dad’s winning ticket is actually a form letter.
