Who’s GROW’s BFF?

My daughter Haley asked me recently who is GROW Nebraska’s bff? Well, I had to think for a minute what bff meant. Not being in the 5th grade I can be a little slow on the internet slang (bff is best friends forever, for those of you who don’t know). GROW Nebraska has lots of bff’s. We refer to them as partners. GROW Nebraska creates partnerships with other organizations to help the program meet its mission of awareness and promotion. We recently were able to build a relationship with the Hall County Convention and Visitors Bureau with their Wings over the Platte project. Crane watchers that visit Wings over the Platte will not only enjoy the Sandhill Cranes in all their splendor, but also take home from their experience a real product made by a real Nebraskan in the gift shop located at the Wings over the Platte. So, after a nice conversation with my daughter, we both agree a bff is wonderful, but building relationships with a number of people is really a great way to broaden one’s horizon.
