You and Me Going Fishing in the Dark

Filed Under: All Posts, Winsome on July 12, 2010

If you’ve been following me on Facebook at all or if you’ve run into me on the street in the last month, you will have heard about my new passion for fishing.
The picturesque scenery at the sand pit, the warm breeze, the wildlife run-ins and the time spent with friends and family has driven me away from the computer and out to be “one” with nature. It’s even driven me back to my computer to watch a YouTube video on how to fillet a catfish!

Although I’ve been fishing at rivers, lakes, ponds and sand pits, I’ve been doing a little fishing where most people do their surfing…the World Wide Web. I’ve been fishing for FABULOUS FRIENDS – that is 1000 people who appreciate Nebraska entrepreneurs and are willing to donate at lease $10 to help them succeed in big ways right here from Nebraska.

We are thankful for Dr. Nabin Sapkota’s donation of $500 for our Fabulous Friends campaign. You can follow Dr. Nabin, thank him personally for his
generous donation to GROW Nebraska and check out his book, Secrets of Modern Medicine Revealed, on his Facebook page. I’ve also been searching for 250 people who will participate in a CSU research survey to help me finish my thesis before heading back to school again in pursue of my PhD in August. I’ve caught a little over a hundred people, so I still need 150! It’s short and pretty easy. Soon all of my fishing adventures will have to end as I head back to school. Will you help me fish?
