A few years ago Central Plains Foundation made a resolution that GROW Nebraska must purchase products and services from members and always try whenever possible to use local resources. As we started planning our 2010 MarkeTech Conference and pre-conference one of my responsibilities was lining up a locally owned hotel property that would allow us to get a block of rooms and host our pre-conference. Luckily we found the Holiday Inn Express Inn & Suites 1101 West Commerce Way, Lincoln, NE.

This property is locally owned by an investment group in Lincoln, NE. It’s a newer property and they were excited about hosting our event. If we all make a commitment to spend our dollars locally we will grow Nebraska. Please mark your calendar for the GROW Nebraska MarkeTech Pre-Conference which will be a hands on learning session about social media and online selling. The pre-conference will be held on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at the Holiday Inn Express Inn & Suites located by the Lincoln Airport from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. I also hope you will join us for the MarkeTech Conference, which will be held on April 22, 2010, at the 27th Street Conference Center. We will also be conducting our annual product evaluation. This is an excellent time to get your product evaluated by expert jurors. It will be a fun filled day of learning and networking. See you there!
