When I talk to people about working for GROW Nebraska and describe what we do – help Nebraska entrepreneurs market their products and services – I can’t tell you the number of times I have heard, “Oh, have you been to that store in the Haymarket? They have an amazing number of Nebraska products, the whole store is full of them!”

And they are so right! For those of us who appreciate the creativity of Nebraska producers, Connie Mahaney has created a magical place. From delicious gourmet Nebraska food and beverages to amazing art to books and Husker apparel, you can find it in the store or on their eCommerce web site. You can even enjoy a glass of Nebraska wines.

The Haymarket in Lincoln is one of the jewels of Nebraska – it’s a fun atmosphere steeped in history with unique shopping. The From Nebraska Gift Shop is an anchor of these unique stores and I invite you to stop by on your next trip to Lincoln. I think maybe I’ll stop in and buy myself a new mug for my morning tea which proudly proclaims that “Not only am I perfect, I’m from Nebraska, too!” What could be better for any proud Nebraskan?
