Sandra Hilsabeck. I am the author of two books- One Man and One Woman and Drop Shot, Life Lessons Learned on the Rectangle
G. How did you get your business started?
S. I sent copies of books to hundreds of acquaintances, businesses, and churches.
G. What is your favorite part about owning your own business in Nebraska?
S. Seeing people grow from reading how to draw closer to God.
G. What Social Networking Sites (Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, Blog, etc), if any, are you using? Why are you using them? And what results have you seen from their use, if any?
S. Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn- I am using them to explain the books and expose more people to how they can use and give the book to others. No results yet, but it is hard to measure.
G. What has been the most important/influential decision you have made for your business?
S. Joining GROW Nebraska
G. What is your favorite/interesting story about your business?
S. My first book is now being used in a group for divorced and separated women at Eastridge Presbyterian Church called Hope Renewed Group. Women are being helped in the group, studying Bible verses, growing in friendships and their love of the Lord. I intend to finish writing Study Guides for each chapter (14 of the 40 chapters are completed) and market this group’s success story to others.
