Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas! I hope everyone is enjoying the day off (and for those of you who don’t have the day off, I am thinking of you too). I am celebrating with my family back in my hometown of Arapahoe, Nebraska. We drove in late last night after spending time with my husband’s family. What would Christmas be without the travel?

One thing my family really enjoys is playing the card game pitch. It gets fierce with the occasional blind bid by my Uncle Mark, which gets my Aunt Jan on the point that you need to bid the cards you have, and has the rest of the family joining in on the debate and laughing.

The holiday season is a great opportunity to enjoy time with family and friends. It is also a time for fun before succumbing to our New Year’s resolutions.
