Girls Just Want to Have Fun – Women That Work Hard to Play Harder

This last week was National Business Women’s Week. I’m not sure if men get the other 51 weeks of the year or when they get their time in the spotlight, but in regards for this holiday I’d like to say congrats to all of the business women out there.

I’d also like to say congrats to my fellow (I mean my “women”) colleagues on the GROW Nebraska staff. Although some of you may already know this, the GROW Nebraska staff currently consists of all women. The women that I work with are smart, creative, assertive, but courteous and are the glue that keeps GROW’s passion for helping Nebraska’s micro businesses survive. We work hard to bring the best services to our members and we love getting to know each business owner personally. Thank you girls on the GROW staff (note, I’m not discriminating because like I said, we don’t have males in our core staff right now) for the fun, the brain storming sessions that stretch my creativity and for your passion.

The “GROW Girls” would also like to congratulate all of the businesswomen in Nebraska! We’d love to hear how any of you celebrated your week or if anyone has a special businesswoman they’d like to share about.
