Fall is here and are you blogging?

Fall generally means for my football family, calf shows are over for a few months, volleyball and more football. Fall is also a time to do fall organizing and catch up. The big question is-Are you blogging? Fall is a great time to start. A few months ago I would have told you blogging is ok, but it is extremely hard to keep motivated to write a blog that someone may take the time to read, and if they do read it you want it to be worthwhile. Well I am a true believer of blogging thanks to Facebook and Twitter. Blogs allow businesses to promote their goods or services in a social nature, which allows us to build relationships. I get asked a lot what is the difference between a blog and a web site. A blog is for reading and a web site is for exploring or research. Blogs are two-way and web sites are one-way. And to be completely honest a blog is one type of a web site. I now believe both a web site and a blog are equally important to a business‘s success. GROW Nebraska will be hosting a series a marketing workshops that will discuss ways to reach your target market with all the online applications and tools available today – Blogs, web sites, Facebook, Delicious, YouTube, Flickr, Twitter, Friendfeed to just name a few!
