Word-of-Mouth Marketing

mouthMarketing, advertising, promotion, there are so many things to call it. But it is simply a way to get your name out there and sell your product.

We have talked over and over about social marketing, blogs, Facebook, Twitter, you name it we’ve tried it. There is one type that has been around for years that we don’t discuss much but it can be the most powerful, word-of-mouth marketing. How can you create a buzz about your product?

First of all, sample. Let them try it. You will get an honest answer, and if they don’t like it listen to them and find out why. Provide quality service and treat everyone with respect. We all like to be with people who make us feel good. Get to know your customer, this implies to wholesale and retail accounts. Stay in touch, provide them with specials or coupons, anything to keep your name in front of them so they come back to buy more. Keep it positive and customers are bound to come back for more!
