Checking in from the Nebraska State Fair

As I am sitting in Ag Hall at the Nebraska State Fair, I just have to smile. It is kid’s day at the fair and it has been raining all morning. Numerous schools in the area have brought students to the fair. I smile because these kids are so excited to be at the fair but most are soaking wet. It reminds me when I was young and came with my family to the fair.

Everyday of the fair so far has been beautiful. It has been mostly in the 70s. It seems more like fall than summer! I believe the combination of the wonderful weather and it being the last state fair in Lincoln has led to record sales for us so far.
