Preparing for the Holiday Season

What a busy time of the year! The Nebraska State Fair started on Friday with set up starting last Wednesday for us. The weekend was very busy at the fair with the beautiful weather.

I attended a training today and will be off to the state fair a little later this afternoon. Even in the midst of all the craziness, it is important to start preparing for the holiday season. Some things to start thinking about:

– eCommerce
o Do you have your product on eCommerce sites?
o Is your photography up-to-date? Has your labeling changed?
– Web Site
o Is your web site current? Are your shipping prices current? Has your phone number changed?
o Photography is again important. People want to see what they are buying. Good quality photos help achieve this.
– Inventory
o Do you have enough inventory for the upcoming season?
o Remember if you have seasonal items, you need to be getting them into retail locations before the season hits.
