Is your Office Changing with Technology?

Is your office keeping up with changing technology? Have you had the same phone system for 10 years? It is important to keep up on trends and shifts in society.
My primary phone is a cell phone. It also happens to be a smart phone with a full key pad. Traditional phones had three to four letters on each number that could be used with different phone systems. With the change in phones and more people not getting landlines, it is important to remember this trend in your business. Recently, I called a company on my smart phone. This specific company had an automated voice system. I listened to my options and picked the option to select a specific associate to speak. I was asked to type in the first letters of the person’s first name. I couldn’t type in the name of the person on my phone since my keypad and letters didn’t line up with how the voice system was designed.
It is also important to remember that if you have a number that is referenced with letters such as 866-GROW-NEB to also have what the numbers are 866-520-3520. As people do more while traveling and on phones it is important that consumers can contact your business.
